Group Lebel will continue to develop its sawmilling sector and will be able to face new challenges in this sector with renewed confidence.<\/strong> <strong>\u00bb<\/strong><br>Fran\u00e7ois Tardif, President of Maibec<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Levis \u2013 August 6th, 2018 \u2013<\/strong> Maibec is happy to announce that it concluded a transaction with Groupe Lebel of Rivi\u00e8re-du-Loup for their acquisition of the Maibec lumber mills located in St-Pamphile, Quebec and Masardis, ME. The 315 employees of Maibec that are concerned by this transaction will maintain their employment with Groupe Lebel. As both companies are privately owned, the details pertaining to this transaction will not be made public and no additional comments will be provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab Maibec will now focus on growing its pre-stained exterior siding\u2019s systems based on lap sidings and shingles manufactured with solid wood or wood-based engineered material.
