The "Parc Les Saphirs" project finalist for the 2021 Cecobois Awards of Excellence

The Center of Expertise on Commercial Wood Construction (Cecobois) recently unveiled the finalists for the seventh edition of its Awards of Excellence, the only one dedicated specifically to the recognition and celebration of Quebec commercial, institutional, industrial and multi-residential wood construction know-how.

Maibec est très fière de voir le projet de patinoire extérieure « Parc Les Saphirs » de la ville de Boischatel finaliste dans la catégorie Infrastructure extérieure, puisqu’il met de l’avant en grande partie le bois véritable de Maibec. Ce projet conçu par ABCP Architecture vise à développer un parc urbain en périphérie d’un boisé situé en bordure du Club de Golf Royal Québec. L’équipement principal du parc est toutefois une patinoire extérieure couverte et son bâtiment de services.

Le choix du profilé V-Joint en noir sur le bâtiment d’accueil du complexe sportif est en parfaite harmonie avec le style architectural du projet. L’éventail de produits offerts par Maibec a permis une fois de plus de soutenir toute la créativité et l’ingéniosité derrière cette réalisation.

A total of 37 exceptional achievements were selected in 15 categories. The winners will be announced at the awards gala, which will be broadcast live from the Palais Montcalm on Thursday, February 25.
